Tumulus Bortombe Landen
Voor deze opdracht kregen we de uitdaging om een graanveld
te fotograferen met een panoramisch uitzicht op de Tumulus Bortombe in Landen.
De klant wilde een beeld dat de uitgestrektheid en schoonheid van het landschap
vastlegde, met de historische Tumulus op de achtergrond.
Wat deze opdracht extra bijzonder maakte, was de noodzaak om
het graanveld te fotograferen op het exacte moment dat het in volle bloei
stond. De klant had aangegeven dat het graan zeer binnenkort gemaaid zou
worden. Daarom besloten we om geen risico's te nemen en de opnames al de
volgende dag te maken. Dit bleek een gouden zet te zijn, want slechts één dag
na de fotosessie was het graanveld volledig kaal geschoren. De foto werd
gebruikt om een volledige muur in de keuken van de klant te bekleden, waardoor
het resultaat een indrukwekkend en tijdloos stuk kunst werd dat de schoonheid
van het landschap perfect vastlegde.
